How do we get into the unit?
You will receive a door code via email two days prior to your arrival.
The door code to your rental unit actives at 3:00 pm.
You can also download our smart phone app which has all of your arrival information including your door code. Our smart phone app is Hololani Rentals.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 3:00 PM
Check-out is: 11:00 AM
What if we need a late check-out?
Late check-out is sometimes available, but you must check with the office manager for availability. If you do have a late check out, under no circumstances may you check out later than 10:00 PM.
The Late Check-Out Fee is $50.00.
Do you charge for parking?
No, we do not charge for parking.
Is there additional parking?
Parking is available in our underground parking garage. Pay attention: the drive-way to the garage is just before you enter our rental office. There is only one designated parking space per unit. We do not have additional parking. Additional vehicles must park on the public street. Please do not park at the office parking during business hours: your vehicle will be ticketed and then towed.
What is your cancellation policy?
An initial $300.00 deposit is due at time of booking to secure your reservation. For guest staying one or two weeks, there is a $150.00 processing fee for cancelations made prior to the final payment due date.
For guest staying three or four weeks, the deposit is $500.00. Cancelations made prior to the final payment due will incur a $250.00 processing fee.
For guests staying one or two weeks, the final payment is due 60 days in advance of your arrival to avoid cancellation.
For guests staying three or four weeks, the final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival to avoid cancellation.
There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 60 days prior to arrival date.
How should we pack?
The weather on Maui is fairly consistent all year long; it’s usually quite warm. In most cases you can pack lightly, and be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen. If you are planning on going to Haleakala or Hana, you will need a jacket since it does get cooler at higher elevation.Be sure to check for weather conditions before traveling to Haleakala or Hana: http://www.hanamaui.com/
Where is the nearest beach access?
Due to the changing shoreline on Maui, we no longer have beach access on property. One of the nicer nearby beaches is Dig Me Beach by Whaler’s Village.
Is there maid service?
Maid service is scheduled for every 8th day of reservations. If your reservation is shorter than 8 days, there is no maid service. If you need fresh towels or would like fresh linen, please check with the front office. Every unit has a washer and dryer and we supply starter supplies, including a packet of laundry detergent, for your visit. If you need additional supplies, they can purchased at the front office. Many guests buy their supplies at nearby supermarkets.
What is in the units and Ohana room (lobby area)?
All of our units are ocean front view, individually owned condos, that are decorated by their owner. All of our units have fully equipped kitchens, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, washer and dryer, and up-to-date appliances for your convenience. We offer free wireless internet and cable.
• Our rooms do not come with A/C, but we get some great trade winds on the west side of the Island.
• We supply beach towels and beach chairs, and you can borrow our ice chest if needed.
• Near our Ohana room, you’ll find a toy chest with some toys, and snorkel gear other guest leave behind, along with some boogie boards. If you borrow them, please return them when done.
• In our Ohana room we have: dining tables, flat screen TV, kitchen, library, games, puzzles, and plenty of activity brochures.
• Our pool is heated, however we do not have a hot tub.
• We have a BBQ next to our pool area.
